The drought rages on.  Starting today, August 24th, Stage 2 Drought restrictions are in effect.  This ish is serious, people.

Here’s what the Stage 2 Water Restrictions mean to you:

  • You can only water your yard once a week (check the schedules in the graphic above)
    • Odd-numbered addresses on Saturday; Even-numbered on Sunday
    • Automatic sprinkler systems before 10A
    • Hose sprinklers before 10A or after 7P
  • You can only wash your car on designated days and ZERO charity car washes
  • If you want water at a restaurant, you have to ask for it — they are not allowed to serve it unless asked for
  • Sidewalks, driveways and parking areas cannot be washed unless there’s a safety or health hazard
  • Outdoor fountains must be off, except to aerate aquatic life
  • Automatic fill valves for pools must be off

To report water waste, call 3-1-1.
