Austin Summer Music Survey 2010–Which Austin bands are on your summer playlist? [plus FREE MP3s]

2010 August 3

Pool plus playerChillin poolside this Sunday, I counted 6 Austin bands on my summer playlist. That’s when I thought it’d be cool to see what bands other bloggers and readers are listening to. So imagine my joyous surprise when I found that our friends over at Austin Town Hall had assembled a 2010 Summer Mixtape of Austin musicians. With trax from 20 diverse Austin area artists, their mixtape will definitely kickstart your collection of local musicians. So head over to Austin Town Hall and download that mutha.

So now that we’ve seen theirs, why don’t you show us yours?

  • In the form, below, let us know the top 3 Austin artists YOU are listening to this summer.
  • Also, give us a brief review of the album or single. It will help us decide which musicians to cover next.
  • You’ve got until August 13th. We’ll publish the best reviews–so get to writing!
