This past Friday night we headed out to Joie de Vie Salon on 6th Street for their free happy hour. No surprise: It also happened to be the opening of my hubby’s, Austin artist Doug Naugle, most recent exhibit.

The salon has this hip, Austin vibe with a secret party room in the back.  D.J. Miguel Angel was spinning some throwback tunes like “Living in Oblivion,” leaving us wondering “Who sings this?”  Like a modern-day gunfight, iPhones were suddenly slung out to see who could Shazam the answer first.  It’s Anything Box.
