In Facebook Status Updates-My Housemate Re-Watches the UT vs Alabama BCS Championship Game 2010.

2010 January 12

Can’t lie to you guys: I’ve been hella depressed since watching last week’s BCS Championship game. SPOILER ALERT: We lost.

It’s not the loss that is really so upsetting. It’s the helplessness in Colt’s eyes after he comes back on the field to watch the game, unable to play after a shoulder injury in the second drive. It’s the surge of joy after a FRESHMAN quarterback brings the Longhorns back from a shut out in the second half to within a few points of victory. It’s the sinking feeling of despair as that same quarterback gets sacked, fumbles the ball on his own 10 yard line and, well, there’s nothing else to tell…

My housemate and tons of our friends were in Pasadena at the game. They got back on Sunday night and for SOME REASON my housemate decided to watch the game last night on DVR. I couldn’t relive that emotional rollercoaster, but he did.

Well, I’ve captured what he had to say in Facebook Status updates. It’s pretty darn funny. If you are offended by the f-bomb or the s-word, you’ll prob wanna skip this one.

(BTW, he’ll prob kill me if he knew I posted this. But since he doesn’t believe in blogs, I doubt he’ll ever see it ;) He’s a DWI lawyer, so if you get pulled over: Don’t blow, call Randall Huntsinger 512.707-9900. There, now if he does see it, he can’t get too upset.)

COMMENT: Did you watch the game? What did you feel? Does Bama deserve to win? Or did the Crimson Tide barely roll in? Let us know in the comments!
