Austin Band The Calm Blue Sea plays guess the soundtrack [VIDEO]

On Wednesday, we sat down with Austin’s own The Calm Blue Sea. Not only do they launch their fall tour this week, their sophomore album, Siegfried: An Original Score, also goes on sale.

Earlier this year, they were asked by Alamo Drafthouse to compose an original score to a silent film.  They chose the 1924 Fritz Lang film Siegfried.

This past March, the band performed their one and a half hour long score to a sold out showing of the movie at the Drafthouse.  The end result was recorded and is available for purchase on all major online music download sites.
