“Blogger Intro: Kristine”
Howdy:
Long time reader, first time writer. The name’s Kristine, aka @GloriaKT, and I’ve lived in the Austin area for the last eight years as a Longhorn then a PR professional and now back to a Longhorn.
I’m originally from the Philippines but have lived the majority of my life in the great state of Texas. My father is an electrical engineer so technology has always played a large roll in my life. In the last two years, I’ve played in the Austin Tech scene, learning more about both local entrepreneurs and the general tech. No, Austin isn’t like Silicon Valley. Thank goodness!
My goal is to highlight and promote what makes Austin Tech quirky and different. It has it’s own vibe and should be proud of it. When I’m not blogging, I’m working on my thesis at the University of Texas – Austin (duh). I also write for Austin 3.0 and for Out of Control Fat Roll.
Feel free to follow me on <insert social network of choice></insert>.
Cheers!
