Summer is here, and with it comes the scorching heat.  Thank goodness Austin now has a frozen banana stand offering a (somewhat) healthier alternative to ice cream to help you beat the heat.  Oh, you hadn’t heard? It’s called Bananarchy (@bananarchy_atx on Twitter), and it’s located on Lamar at 9th Street [UPDATE: They are now located at 1210 Barton Springs Rd at Lamar in the parking lot of Jack and Adam's Bicycles]

Bananarchy’s Grand opening was last Saturday.  With temperatures in the high 90′s, Jasmine and I were more than happy to make the trek north of the river to try cold bananas dipped in chocolate.  In today’s video transmission, we interview co-owner Anna Notario, taste B-A-N-A-N-A-S and see what other Austinite’s think!
