Yo, God! Turn on the A/C Already!

Yeah, it’s hot. How hot is it? Hot enough that our brothers and sisters in the blogosphere can’t stop writing about it.

Room 710 Closes; Owner FLAMES Blogger

Red River cock rock live music venue Room 710 recently closed its doors. Tyler over at TwoGrooves wrote his eulogy to the renegade bar and noted that owner Asher Garber seemed to place the blame on everyone except himself. Check this email thread to see just how pissed off Asher got.

Republic of Austin Editor Chris Apollo loves the Thursday Night Social Ride put on by Social Cycling ATX. That’s why he got super upset to hear that someone stole purses, phones, iPods and a PASSPORT during a break on the ride last week. Come on, folks!
