Phew…it was kinda nice to sleep in. Sorry I kept y’all waiting

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Austin Bleet-up last night to help us celebrate the Austin blogging community. Meeting so many of y’all for the first time only increased my love of this great city. And who could have asked for better weather?

One of my favorite things about last night was how much love was present. I loved hearing the crowd cheer when their favorite blog won. And even after the winners had been announced, people were smiling and happy; there were no hard feelings. In the end, it truly is about the community.

Mad love to Austin Eavesdropper’s Tolly Moseley and Ultra8201′s Richard Gonzalez for letting me throw these little awards at their big event. Both of them received massive amounts of nominations–but because we had partnered together for this event, they were sadly not allowed to win. Both of them, however, are winners in my book.

Also, gotta give shoutouts to the sponsors who provided the gift bags for our winners.
