If you don’t follow my personal account on Twitter, you may not know that I moved last week. Yup, after living most of my adult life off of South Congress (except when I moved to NYC, Berlin and SF), I decided to spread my wings. It’s a little scary, but I’m going to love living off the Greenbelt.
Part of moving means having to find new routes to work, downtown, your favorite club, whatever. As a cyclist, it’s even more crucial to find the safest, fastest way. Thank goodness the city has been building new bike lanes and trails. The problem is, however, that the bike maps are still stuck in early 2007. At least, that’s what you get if you use Google and go to the city’s page for the map.
To be honest, I was on the verge of writing a letter, until I poked around the website enough to find a new map dated December 14th, 2009. Yup! A brand spanking new map for you to download. Read it and bike, suckas!
